'MY MASK' AND 'ME'



I rise in the MORNING,

Stretching and YAWNING!

See myself in the MIRROR,

Watching myself NEARER![:)]


Think of my life,BYGONE!

It is still early in the MORN,

I feel pure,Like a NEW-BORN!

I choose the mask that is to be WORN...


Be it any GRUFF TASK,

I do it with a ROUGH MASK,

Though it is a TOUGH ASK,

I do it DAWN to DUSK![:(]


Running on my instinct's FIND!

Making my conscience BLIND!

Leaving 'my soul within' BEHIND!

Though it is always on the back of MY MIND![:(]


Its the only way i've KNOWN!

Seldom being MY OWN,

Lending my life on LOAN,

To the world that's so ERROR PRONE![:(]


My mask is not just a MENTAL GEAR,

Its like a soul protector,I WEAR,

Moulding it with so much CARE,

With every wave of LOVE IN THE AIR![:)]


Holding it with all my MIGHT!

In the fear of losing it to FRIGHT!

To my DELIGHT i see TWILIGHT,

I'm happy that i can be ME for the NIGHT![:)]


Under the nature's CALMING GREEN,

With the surroundings,SO SERENE,

I look back to WHAT I AM and WHAT
I'VE BEEN,

After all its just ME,MYSELF AND IRENE![:)]


Now!!It is ME meeting MY WITHIN,

Separated all this while by THIN SKIN!

The world i've won with MY MASK AND MY GRIN,

All that is left is MYSELF TO WIN![:)]
